BIOGRAPHY
I began my legal career in business law in Montreal in a leading national law firm. I then went to California for two years and discovered the world of technology start-ups, in which I continue to practice. Upon my return to Montreal, I worked at a national law firm, then with Blue HF. After a solo interlude, I am thrilled to be working with Blue HF’s great team again. I help my clients with their day-to-day corporate and commercial matters, as well as technology licensing and transfer, financings and merger and acquisitions transactions. I have an enduring interest in biochemistry and molecular biology, which I studied before law, and in ethical questions raised by biotechnology. My other interests include hiking, skiing, reading, and my quest for the drink that goes best with chocolate.

Potloc, the consumer research company that conducts survey sampling through social networks, secured a $35M Series B financing round. Investissement Québec led the round followed by First Ascent Ventures and initial investors Brightspark Ventures, Desjardins Capital, Cap Horn, EcoFuel, BDC Capital’s Seed Fund along with debt financing provided by CIBC Innovation Banking. Blue HF represented Potloc.

AlayaCare, a home and community care software company, closed a $225M Series D round led by Generation Investment Management, with participation from Klass Capital, iNovia Capital, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), and Investissement Québec. Blue HF acted for iNovia Capital, CDPQ, and Investissement Québec.
